With the BluOS app you can instantly discover and enjoy millions of songs from your existing music services, tune in to your favorite internet radio stations and podcasts from around the world, or access and listen to your music collections stored on your smartphone, tablet, or computer anywhere in your home.

Digital Performance

Customised DAC design is at the forefront of all digital products from Cyrus, and the 40 ST embodies this approach like never before. Based upon the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, every component has been analysed by Cyrus' engineering team and the board layout fully optimised to tune the DAC so that the highest possible performance can be achieved.

40 Series Chassis

The 40 ST is presented in a sleek brushed and black anodised aluminium case with a 5” hi-res, full colour TFT display with a toughened glass front panel and hidden-until-lit capacitive touch controls.

Power Supply Upgrade

To further enhance the experience and provide the 40 ST with the best configuration of power, you can easily connect the 40 PSU external power supply to the 40 ST with a single cable. Providing multiple supplies, all of the output voltages from the 40 PSU are digitally controlled internally, so are extremely stable and virtually noise free.

Roon Ready

Roon brings all your music together, so you don’t have to worry about where it’s stored, what format it’s in, or where you stream it from. Roon supports music files stored on internal and external hard drives and NAS, your iTunes library, live radio stations and streamed content from Tidal and Qobuz.

MQA Decoding

Built into the 40 ST is the revolutionary end-to-end (studiospeaker) technology known as Master Quality Authenticated (MQA), which captures and delivers master quality audio from your favourite artists’ recording sessions to any room in your home. The 40 ST includes a powerful decoder and audio renderer for the MQA system, allowing you to hear exactly what the artist recorded and approved in the studio.

Airplay2

With Airplay2 you can connect multiple players around the house and have them communicate with each other through AirPlay. Listen to your music in perfect sync as you walk room-to-room, or play different songs in different rooms, and control everything on your iOS device.

Digital Inputs

The 40 ST is equipped with one optical and one coaxial digital input allowing for the connection of external devices, such as a CD player or TV to enjoy the sonic benefits of the superior Cyrus-engineered DAC circuitry.
