The new Hegel H30A and P30A power and pre amplifier combination is the culmination of Hegel's research and development and product experience from over the last 15 years.
The new Hegel H30A Reference Power Amplifier has been nicknamed "The Orchestra." With its solid power, speaker matching is no longer an issue.
The Hegel H30A’s job is to take charge of the music on any speakers and make it sound as good as possible without missing a step. Few can think of any more challenging music than a large orchestral piece to reveal an amplifiers true performance.
The Hegel P30A has been given the nickname of "The Conductor". It is named as such because its job is to control the power amplifier with a signal that is as true to the music as possible. Hegel believe the preamplifier is the most crucial component in a top sounding system, and that it is the hardest to get right.
The Hegel engineers have had their work cut out with keeping the very low amplitude signals coming from the source the same throughout the preamplifier. This is because they can become easily corrupted.
