The Hertz Cento CPX 690 Coaxial Speakers are the best solution for enthusiasts who love highly dynamic listening with low engaging frequencies and want to make the most of the rear deck mount. The Tweeter and Supertweeter both feature Neodymium magnets and Tetolon domes, 32 mm and 24 mm respectively.
The stylish faceplate is designed to maximize off-axis emissions and thus optimizing horizontal installation. As for the Cento CPX 165, the CPX 690’s Tweeter and Supertweeter boasts Radial Venting System technology for outstanding cooling and acoustic performance. The robust basket with radial ventilation keeps operating temperatures low.
The supplied grille is made of a high resistance ABS plastic support and metallic mesh to ensure a high level of protection with a Hi-tech design.

- Pressed-paper cone with FEM-optimized geometry, it combines rigidity and lightness for a color-free sound.
- Wide rubber suspension engineered for a long excursion and excellent sound damping.
- High-density flux ferrite magnet combined with low-carbon polar plates for reduced distortion at high power levels.
- Basket with metallic finish acoustically combined with a rubber magnet cover for total damping of spurious vibrations.
- Tetolon® fiber 32 mm (1.26 in.) dome tweeter and 28 mm (1.1 in.) voice coil, for a distortion-free reproduction of mid-high frequencies.
- Tetolon® fiber Neodymium Supertweeter featuring a 20 mm (0.8 in.) voice coil to compensate for the natural fall of high frequency response in horizontal installations.
- Tweeter faceplate geometry optimized with FEM simulations (Finite Element Modeling), to provide an extremely linear frequency response in off-axis installations.
- Provided elegant grille made with high-resistance ABS plastic structure with a metallic finish combined with a protective metal mesh.
