The Solidsteel SS-7 - Standmount Speaker Stands allow for positioning of standmount loudspeakers at the correct height, which is crucial to their performance.
Since standmount speakers are relatively lightweight compared to floor-standing units, it is essential to maintain high stability and rigidity. As with all components, proper decoupling must also be considered.
The Solidsteel SS-7 Speaker Stands fulfil an important need regarding the proper setup and placement of speakers, and must be considered equally as important as the units they support.
3 tubolar supports end with a crimped steel bar. The stainless steel spikes are removable to allow the frame to be filled with damping material if so desired. The top plate, made from MDF is interchangeable, ensuring a high degree of optimisation with a large number of loudspeakers.
Decoupling between the chassis and the shelf is achieved through three steel ball bearings. These unique tripods are assembled through a traditional brass welding process. The SS-7 stands are also supplied with “Pata-fix®” to properly fix the speakers to the top plate.
