Available with optional Chord EpicX Speaker Cables in 2 Meter and 4 Meter lengths. (These are terminated with Banana Plugs)

Pre Amplifier - Hegel P20 Pre Amplifier

The Hegel P20 Preamplifier is Hegel's entry-level preamplifier and offers an affordable route into Hegel's Reference products. Designing the P20 was not a task that was taken lightly. Many of the ideas and concepts were taken from its bigger brother (The Hegel P30). Although scaled-down, many of the good characteristics remain - the enormous soundstage, the deep rhythmic bass response, the perfect timing.

The Hegel P20 comes with a high-quality system remote control, milled out of one solid piece of aluminum. It has the same bead blasted and anodized surface finish as the preamplifier itself. You can really feel the quality of each part of the P20; not only hear it. There is a total of 5 regular inputs. Both balanced and unbalanced. In addition, a special Home Theatre input allows integration in Home Theatre systems. Finally, there are both balanced and unbalanced outputs as well as a fixed line-level output.

The Hegel H20 Dual-Mono Power Amplifier incorporates the latest version of the Hegel FET-technology. A practical benefit of the H20 FET-technology is a more rhythmic sound. It is simply better at re-creating a bass line. Another vital element is the removal of harmonic echoes in the higher frequencies, which result in a lot more detail and still a smoother and more natural sound.

The core design of the Hegel H20 is based on the H30 Reference Amplifier, with the best possible implementation of Hegel's patented and laser trimmed SoundEngine modules. Also designed in the timeless Hegel look, it will fit in any modern or classic home. Just one single button on the front and a solid bead blasted and anodized front panel. Cables - Chord Company EpicX Speaker Cables

EpicX (prev Epic/Epic Twin) has been part of the Chord speaker cable range for many years – it’s a shielded cable that works with pretty much every style of speaker.  From mid-price to high end, EpicX brings detail, dynamics, resolution and coherence to every speaker it’s used with. It’s particularly good at bringing control and definition across the bass frequencies and is the ideal cable solution for floor-standing speakers.

EpicX is based on the multi-award-winning Chord OdysseyX speaker cable.  Both cables use 12 AWG oxygen free copper negative and positive conductors, silver-plated and insulated with XLPE before an outer PVC jacket is applied.  The key difference (and performance leap) is due to the effective high frequency combination shield and translucent PVC jacket that is added to EpicX.
